It takes up the question the rational kitchens of the last century set, how a kitchen is made and how it is used, and answers it with the materials and production now available. A kitchen is the hardest-worked room in a home and the one most often thrown away. This one is made to be kept, and to change with the people who use it: standard modules combine with bespoke ones, are arranged to the room and its appliances, and any component can be altered, replaced or added to later. The construction gives the precision of industrial production and the freedom of a made-to-measure interior.
