Our processing of your personal data depends on how you interact with us, for example when making a purchase or subscribing to our newsletter. Further details are provided in section 3.2 below. Please see section 8 for information on how long we retain your data.

3.2 Customers

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

3.3 Consent and withdrawal

Where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us at mail@platten.haus. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Please note that we may continue to process your personal data where such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or for the purposes of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), such as defending legal claims or preventing misuse.

4. Does Platten Haus share your information with others?

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. 5. Transfer outside of the EU/EEA

Some of the service providers we use, such as Mailchimp, may process personal data outside of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), in particular in the United States. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, such as the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

You have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), meaning that where applicable, you can receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR) with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your residence or place of work.
