Lighting  Platten Haus designs lights using new technology, including portable rechargeable lamps that use LEDs to make new forms of lighting. The minimal and ornamental designs refer to historical types of lighting.

Homeware Banner

Homeware  Platten Haus’ first production range was the Omni Pots: anodised, aluminium planters assembled from modular flat-pack parts. They lay the ground work for our homeware pieces, defined by clear, symbolic forms and remain minimal.

Furniture Banner

Furniture  The Banister Bed is the largest object produced by the studio. It was first shown at the Platten Haus launch in London at Erno Goldfinger’s Metro Central Heights and later at the Grazer Kunstverein as part of Maria Toumazou’s exhibition RHYTHM, CITIZEN. Platten Haus furniture uses industrial materials such as aluminium alongside wood and other materials, with forms that reference historical types and styles.

Catalogues  Accompanying each product launch, Platten Haus produces a catalogue that presents the designs as a collection. The catalogues include photographs of installations, exhibition views and 3D renders.
